Booking a narrowboat experience

Before spending thousands of pounds on a narrowboat, we reckon it's a good idea to see if we actually like it. So we've booked a Narrowboat Experience – a Two Day Taster weekend on Narrowboat Maddison  moored at Penkridge, Staffordshire.on the Staffs and Worcester canal for May 2016

NB Maddison is a seven year old private narrowboat owned by the Jones Family and they hire it out to experienced narrowboaters or people who’ve been on one of their taster days.

We first heard about the narrowboat on Twitter, and as a Social Media Trainer, I’m delighted to have discovered her through a 140 character tweet.  They also have a Facebook Page Facebook Page and their Twitter name is @CanalHire

To get a more in-depth experience, we’ve also booked two weeks on NB Maddison for August/September 2016 and are currently mulling over the various routes we can take during a fortnight on the canals
