We've found our Boat Builder

After years of research, we eventually found our narrowboat builders - Narrowboats of Distinction. We contacted them for their next available build slot only to hear they were winding the business down and weren't planning to build any more boats.  Absolutely devastated.  

The story doesn't end there though. After being invited to spend a day with them on their own narrowboat Oyster Bay, we were totally amazed when they agreed they WOULD build our dream narrowboat for us. But this was definitely, absolutely their last boat ever!  Time would prove that wrong, and the company is definitely continuing, having taken on a new partner into the business 

The hull was delivered to their workshop from XR&D Boat Builders end May/early June 2018 with fit-out taking (on this boat only) nine months, meaning we take delivery of the boat in March/April 2019.
