What sort of stove - diesel, wood or multi fuel?

Diesel, wood or multi-fuel? After a lot of research, diesel was ruled out at it could be a faff to light and clean sometimes. The stove was always going to have a small oven, so that ruled out most on the market, and we also liked the idea of a corner stove as it saves valuable space.

So in the end it came down to a Harworth Heating Corner Bubble Stove with oven. This is a multi fuel stove so will burn wood or smokeless equally well.  Visited their factory near Doncaster, had a good nose around the factory, spoke to the people who made the stove.  Was a bit concerned about a triangular firebox and oven, but it's plenty large enough. Decision made.

Why a stove with an oven? Firstly, we want to be as sustainable as possible, and cooking in the oven when the fire is lit anyway, saves on gas and cuts down on condensation.  We have a woodstove at home and cook as much as we can on the top of it, so are used to cooking that way.  Secondly, it is an alternative source of cooking should anything happen to the stove or hob.

It will be nice to experiment with a stove with an oven and see what culinary delights we can concoct
