NB Sea Glass moored at Alderwasly |
Where do you start when choosing an external paint scheme for your narrowboat? We knew we didn't want traditional, but neither did we want garish
For us the starting point, and what made it easy, was that we'd already chosen the boat's name right at the start. She was going to be called "Sea Glass" - and that set the colour scheme from the beginning - both internal and external

Awaiting the signwriter
Sea Glass was never going to be a traditional boat, inside or out. We want her to feel tranquil and calm, but stand out from the more usual poster paint colours typically found on narrowboats
We certainly think she will do that
