A hot hot hot August evening on Sea Glass

 

August 2020 saw a long hot spell, with temperatures reaching as high as 35 degrees.  We sat on the stern deck most evenings as dusk lowered the heat levels slightly.  It was tempting to thik about sleeping on the roof like they do in Turkey! 

Sunsets on the canal (when we get them) are really beautiful, made even more so by the sky reflecting in the water, and we were lucky to witness this during the evening of Monday 11 August.  

Isn't this what life on a narrowboat is all about?
